Unit Description: Alice Hyde Medical Center is 25-bed acute care facility with an 11 bed Emergency Room. As an LPN on Med/Surg, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team that provides high quality care to a diverse patient population. General Summary

The Licensed Practical Nurse provides direct patient care under the direction of and supervision of a Registered Professional Nurse, in accordance with the NYS Practice Act, hospital policies, and the standards set forth by Nursing Services and the Nurse Practice Council.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
• Currently licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse in New York State
• Previous experience preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication sills
• Ability to work with other healthcare team members
• Meets requirements of physical/pre-placement screening
