Salary: $23.00 USD Hourly - $25.00 USD Hourly

Description: Our client is currently seeking Transportation Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) to join their summer program in districts within the greater Roseville, CA area.Transportation Nurse

Dates: June 16th - July 11th (No school on June 19th & July 4th)

Schedule: Monday - Friday

Requirements

Job Title: School LVN

Valid CA LVN License
Current CPR/BLS Certification
Must have Drivers License

Reports To: Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum & Instruction

Role Summary

The school LVN plays a critical role in supporting students’ health and well-being to enhance their learning experience. The primary focus is on health assessments, early detection of potential disabilities, and providing necessary medical interventions to ensure student success.

Responsibilities

Assisting children and youth, parents, and school personnel in identifying and utilizing appropriate and mutually acceptable private and community health delivery services for professional care and remediation of defects.
Counseling with parents, pupils and school staff regarding health related attendance problems.
Helping parents, school personnel and pupils understand and adjust to physical, mental and social limitations.
Exploring with families and pupils, attitudes, information and values that effect their health behavior.
