Shifts: 12-Hour Shifts (3x/week)

Compensation

• Total Weekly Pay: $2,146/week
• Taxable Pay: $900/week
• Non-Taxable Pay: $1,246/week
  
  

Position Summary

Protouch Staffing is seeking a dedicated and skilled Med-Surg RN for a 13-week travel assignment in a dynamic hospital setting. The RN will play a key role in ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care through all stages of hospitalization.

Key Responsibilities

• Use the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) for direct patient care.
• Accurately document patient status, care interventions, and outcomes.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and protocols.
• Collaborate with the care team and patients/families to ensure coordinated care.
• Provide patient and family education throughout the episode of care.
• Supervise LPNs and non-licensed assistive personnel in the unit.
• Meet required unit competencies and complete any protocol-based education.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of current Med-Surg experience.
• Completion of at least one 13-week travel assignment.
• Active New Mexico or Compact State RN license.
• BLS certification from AHA, ARC, or AHS.
• Strong adaptability in fast-paced settings.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• EPIC EMR experience (on-site training available).
