Our Lady of Consolation is located on the beautiful Great South Bay and is comprised of a 345-bed nursing and rehabilitative care center. Job Details

The primary responsibility of this position is to assess care plan, implement and evaluate care treatment and services provided to assigned patient / resident.

• Provides oversight and/or implements treatments, dispenses medications, and perform other nursing functions as needed on a regular basis.
• Appropriately delegate patient care to nursing staff based on patient care needs.
• Assign and supervise the activity of Nursing Assistants to assure that residents receive adequate assistance with personal hygiene and in carrying out daily activity.
• Assure that documentation regarding significant change in status such as eating habits, mental orientation, emotional status, safety and physical condition is made in the resident/patient electronic medical record.
• Assess plan, implement and evaluate care, treatment and services for all new admissions. Prepare and/or coordinate Nursing Report at end of shift under the direction of Charge Nurse / Nurse Manager / NCC.
• Assure that medications and treatments is being given as prescribed and according to physician’s order and nursing policy
  
  
  

Salary Range

USD $46.35 - USD $49.15 /Hr.

The pay for this position ranges from $ 46.35 - $49.15 per hour.

This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
