Position Description

Our client is a modern, independent, non-profit acute-care healthcare facility 168 licensed beds, serving a population of about 62,000 across five counties. With around 490 employees and a large medical staff, our client offers a wide range of clinical services!

Shift Availability: Labor and Delivery: 7a-7p and 7p-7a Nursery: 7a-7p and 7p-7a ICU: 7a-7p and 7p-7a

Salary: Hourly rate of $26 to $45 (based on experience) Sign-on bonus offered for night positions

Job Summary

Our client is seeking multiple Registered Nurses (RN) for various units, including Labor and Delivery, Nursery, and ICU, with shifts available from 7a-7p and 7p-7a. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients during their shift, manage personnel, supplies, and equipment, and foster collaboration among the healthcare team. The RN Care Team Leader will develop work plans and provide clear guidance to care partners.

Job Responsibilities: Provide patient assessments and develop individualized care plans Implement and evaluate nursing interventions for assigned patients Manage assigned personnel, supplies, and equipment during shifts Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare team members to promote quality patient care Develop work plans and provide leadership to care partners as RN Care Team Leader Adhere to unit policies, procedures, and clinical guidelines

Qualifications: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing Current RN license in the State of Alabama Ability to complete 1-3 months orientation for department/unit policies and clinical guidelines Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and families, encouraging cooperation and easing concerns Analytical skills to apply nursing theory, clinical practice, and delegation for optimal patient care Leadership skills for managing team members and resources
