Pride Health is hiring an LPN to support our client’s medical facility based in Lake Success, NY 10042. This is a 6-month assignment (Possibility of extension or conversion) opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Duration: 6 months Contract (Possibilities of extension)

Payrate: $30-32/hr (on w2/Pay Rate is based on experience and educational qualifications).

Schedule: Monday 11:30-7, Tuesday 10:30-6, Wednesday 9-6, Thursday 9-5 and Friday 9-3:30 (40 hrs/wk 8hrs./day)

Job Responsibilities:

• Greet and room patients promptly, verifying patient identity, updating medical history, and preparing them for the provider’s examination.
• Measure and record vital signs including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiratory rate, height, weight, and oxygen saturation.
• Perform pulmonary function tests (PFTs) by instructing patients on proper technique, using spirometry equipment, and accurately recording results for provider evaluation.
• Assist with allergy testing by preparing testing materials, applying allergens to the skin using the appropriate method (skin prick or intradermal), observing for reactions, and documenting findings.
• Administer allergy immunotherapy (allergy shots) following proper protocols, verifying patient dosage and schedule, monitoring for adverse reactions, and documenting treatment accurately.

Job Requirements:

• 1-3 years of LPN experience is required.
• Active NY LPN License.
• BLS is required.
• Bachelor's Degree is required.
