• Days = 6am – 5:30pm
• Nights = 6pm – 5:30am
• Every other weekend
• Rotating holidays

RN to Patient Ratio:

• Day Shift: 1 : 6-8
• Night Shift: 1 : 7-9

MUST HAVES:

• Education: ASN
• South Dakota RN license – this is a compact state
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• Inpatient Rehab or Med Surg experience
• Epic or Cerner à client uses a version of Cerner

DAY TO DAY:

Job Summary: We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our team at a 40-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital in Sioux Falls, SD. Our facility provides comprehensive care to patients with medical-surgical acuity, ensuring they receive the highest quality of care during their rehabilitation journey. RNs will work alongside certified nursing assistants (CNAs) and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient progress and report any changes to the healthcare team.
• Collaborate with therapists to ensure patients receive 3 hours of therapy per day.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
• Supervise and support CNAs in providing patient care.
