The Clinical Resource Dept at Preston Memorial Hospital is a multi-purpose department that provides evidence-based care to all patient populations. The nursing staff work closely in collaboration with our physicians, advanced practice nurses and specialty providers to provide quality outcomes in any department as assigned, mainly Acute Care, ICU, Surgical Services and Emergency Department. Continuing education and specialty certification are highly encouraged.

Job Summary:

As a RN at Mon Health Preston Memorial Hospital, you will coordinate total patient centered care ensuring optimal service to the communities we serve.

Education Requirements:

Incumbent must be a graduate of school of nursing.

Experience Requirements:

Effective interpersonal communication skills in order to effectively collaborate with physicians and instruct patients and their families.

Certifications/ Licensure Requirements:

Must possess licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in WV. Must possess BLS certification within probationary period.

ACLS, PALS and NRP are required within first year of employment

Physical Requirements:

Heavy Work

May exert up to 100 lbs. of force occasionally and/or up to 50 lbs. of force frequently and/or in excess of 20 lbs. of force constantly.
