A health services network in New York is currently seeking a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to join one of their group homes in Rockland County.

About the Opportunity:

• Start Date: ASAP
• Assignment Length: Ongoing (Contract to Hire)
• Schedule: Monday to Friday
• Hours: Flexible (7am to 3pm or 8am to 4pm or 9am to 5pm or 10am to 6pm)
• Patient Population: Adults (IDD / Medically Fragile)
• Patient Volume: 10 per day

Responsibilities:

• Provide documented oversight of medical appointments and medical issues
• Coordinate and monitor health services as well as signs and symptoms of illness
• Train and oversee all medical systems and document accurate completion of recommendations
• Monitor care during medical hospitalizations
• Provide initial and ongoing training in all delegated nursing tasks or functions

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• NYS Registered Nurse license

Desired Skills:

• 1+ year of Nursing experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• Working knowledge of YAI and OPWDD med administration standards
