We are currently searching for a Full Time OR Registered Nurse to join our team.

The OR Nurse is responsible for the nursing activities related to the care of the patient experiencing an operative or other invasive procedure.
The staff member can expect to care for adult patients, including the older adult through geriatric, and pediatric patients from 12 months through adolescence.
Current American Heart BLS/ACLS/PALS Certification.
Experience working as an operating room circulator is required.

This is a Full-Time position: Actual DAYS and HOURS will vary.

Completes initial and annual competencies as required.
Maintains licenses and certifications.
Adheres to dress code, attendance punctuality, meal break, and rest periods
Demonstrates the ability to communicate clearly and concisely
Attends required department and hospital meetings.
Assumes responsibility for continuing education requirements

Required Skills:

Current Florida Nursing License
Current CPR, ACLS, and PALS
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Ability to recognize, evaluate, solve problems, and correct errors.
Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients, and families.
Knowledgeable of policies and procedures specific to the operating room.
Clinically proficient in OR nursing skills, demonstrating knowledge of the developmental needs of pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
Minimum 2 years of Orthopedic experience;
Monday- Friday with late rotations & no calls.
