Schedule: Night Shift
Sign-On Bonus: $5,000

What You’ll Do:
Clinical Excellence
- Assess and monitor patients' status per hospital protocols, including cardiovascular, respiratory, neurological, hemodynamic, pain, and mental health.
- Interpret data from both invasive and noninvasive monitors with accuracy.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to support positive outcomes.
- Manage co-morbidities and post-surgical needs to ensure safe recovery.
- Safeguard patients during procedures by monitoring positioning, equipment use, and potential hazards.
- Administer medications safely and accurately using the 8 Rights of Medication Administration.
- Prevent infection and maintain wound/tissue integrity.
- Provide effective pain and comfort management tailored to each patient.
- Educate patients and their support persons on post-op expectations, medications, nutrition, and wound care.
- Encourage active participation in care planning and rehabilitation.
- Advocate for patient safety, rights, dignity, and privacy throughout the continuum of care.
- Maintain clear, timely, and complete documentation.
- Communicate effectively during handoffs and work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams.
- Participate in daily safety huddles, team meetings, and quality improvement efforts.
- Maintain all required competencies and licenses.
- Participate in performance evaluations and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Demonstrate professionalism, teamwork, and effective conflict resolution.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current, unrestricted state RN license in good standing.
- Preferred: At least one year of acute care and/or medical-surgical nursing experience.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) or Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required within 90 days of hire (or must present current certification).
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 90 days of hire (or must present current certification).
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification is required within 90 days of hire if pediatric care is part of the facility's service scope (or must present current certification).
