Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Travel RN to join our Oncology/Women’s Surgical team. The ideal candidate is a team player, eager to learn, and highly adaptable to a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide oncology and women’s surgical care to patients in a 24-bed unit.
• Work within 1:4 or 1:5 patient-to-nurse ratios.
• Perform occasional pelvic exams, echocardiograms, and thoracentesis procedures.
• Utilize Cerner EMR system for documentation and patient records.
• Collaborate with day and night shift teams consisting of Charge Nurse Coordinators (CNC), RNs, CNAs, and Health Unit Coordinators (HUCs).
  
  

Requirements

• Certifications: RN/CNA License, BLS (required); Chemo Certification (preferred)
• Experience: Minimum 2 years in Oncology nursing
• Must-Have Skills: Strong teamwork and communication skills, willingness to learn
• Preferred Skills: Experience with chemotherapy administration

• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Start Date: 5/28/2025)
• Floating Requirements: Rare float to other Med-Surg units
• Weekend Requirement: Staff required to work 6 weekend days per schedule
• Call Requirements: Rare call
