RN - Behavioral Health Adult Emergency

Gross Weekly: $3,000/34.5 Hours

Shift: 7:00 PM-7:30 AM

Requirement:

• CPEP Experience Required.
• Two years of behavioral health experience is required Two years of emergency room experience is required.
• New York State RN License, AHA BLS

Duties:

• Conduct rapid and comprehensive mental health and physical assessments upon patient arrival.
• Monitor patients for changes in behavior, mood, or physical condition.
• Identify risk factors such as suicidal ideation, aggression, or substance intoxication.
• Collaborate with emergency physicians, psychiatrists, social workers, and other team members to formulate care plans.
• Facilitate communication between the emergency department and psychiatric inpatient units or outpatient resources.
