Job Description

The RN - ER will be assigned to the David S. and Janet R. Sheridan Emergency Care Center at Glens Falls Hospital, which serves over 50,000 patients annually. The center operates 24/7, ensuring efficient and high-quality patient care.

• Unit Details:
• Number of beds: 43
• RN-to-patient ratio: 1:4
• Patient population: Newborn through Geriatric

Submission & Compliance Requirements

• Experience:
• Minimum 3+ years of Emergency Department (ED) experience required.
• Recent travel experience in an ED setting required.
• Strong experience with procedural sedation, rapid-sequence intubation (RSI), IV starts for children, and ABG draws.
• Scheduling:
• Block scheduling not allowed.
• Travel Requirement:
• Candidates must have their own vehicle (strict requirement).
• Profile Requirements:
• Work history & skills checklist (updated within 1 year).
• 1 supervisory reference from the past 2 years.
• License & certifications must be uploaded with the profile.
• Permanent address must match driver’s license/state ID and will be validated.

Candidates with permanent residence in the following New York counties will NOT be considered for this travel assignment: Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, Washington.
