Position Description
- Manages the faculty/staff employed through clinical nursing practice contracts and enhance faculty practice initiatives (with oversight for PM-11 Outside Employment Policy). Provides administrative oversight for School of Nursing Clinical Practice Programs, such as employee physicals, nurse managed clinic activity, etc.
- Actively participate in planning, developing, securing approvals and maintains academic integrity of Advanced Nursing Practice Programs. Manages Course Scheduling, Faculty Workload and Room Assignments in consultation with Program Directors and Program Coordinators. Ensures compliance with all LSBN Regulations and CCNE Accreditation requirements.
- Collaborate with information technologists and faculty leaders to enhance and evaluate education opportunities for Advanced Practice Nursing.
- Ensures development & maintenance of accurate & current website.
- Chairs Student Technology Fee Committee. - Maintain oversight of the Faculty Practice Plan and serves as chairperson of the Faculty Practice Plan Committee.
- Create mechanisms for monitoring the success of clinical practice efforts and external partnerships.
- Maintains accurate & current clinical affiliation agreements/contracts in collaboration with Assistant Dean for Clinical Nursing Education and Community Engagement. - Actively participate as a member of the School of Nursing administrative team, with oversight of Nursing School policies and procedures development & review.
- Provides administrative oversight of clinical affiliation agreements in collaboration with Assistant Dean for Clinical Nursing Education and Community Engagement.
- Assure that all relevant reports and surveys are completed in a timely manner.
- Maintains accurate faculty handbooks and assists Dean with philanthropic activities.
- Maintains academic standards of DNP Projects and coordinates academic practice relationships that facilitate implementation of DNP Projects.
