Job Requirements & Qualifications

• Years of Experience: Minimum 2 years (screen for strong candidates)
• Charting System: Epic (Required)
• Trauma Experience: Level I (Required)
• Travel Experience: Required (screen strong candidates with 2+ years)
• Certifications Required:
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC, NIHSS
• CPI* (preferred), MAB* (preferred)

Key Skills & Competencies

✔️ IV Therapy & Phlebotomy: Arterial line management , Blood product administration, Central line care, Starting IVs ✔️ Medications: Continuous IV sedation, IV vasopressors, Procedural sedation administration ✔️ Respiratory Care: CPAP/BiPAP, ABG Interpretation, Ventilated patients ✔️ Neurological Care: CVA, ICP monitoring , Neuro-trauma, Spinal cord injury , Traumatic brain injury* ✔️ Work Settings: General ER (Adult/Pedi), Level I Trauma, Pediatric ER , STEMI/Stroke Certified Facilities ✔️ Shock & Trauma: Gunshot wounds , Traumatic amputations ✔️ Pediatrics: Head injuries , Near drowning ✔️ Cardiac Monitoring: Interpretation & Management of dysrhythmias ✔️ Additional: Triage, Isolation precautions, Ortho-trauma

• Daily Census: 250 patients
• Number of Beds: 100
• Staffing Ratios:
• Days: 1:5
• Nights: 1:6
• Weekends: 1:5
• Float Required: Yes (Pediatric ER possible)
• Interdisciplinary Support: IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Radiology, Pharmacy, Rapid Response Teams, Lift Teams
