Clinical Magnet (part of ICON Medical) is looking for a compassionate Registered Nurse to help serve in their correctional facility near Syracuse, New York.

This is a DIRECT HIRE OPPORTUNITY

Job Summary

As a Registered Nurse (RN) in a correctional facility, you will provide direct patient care to inmates, assess health needs, and collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure effective treatment and outcomes. You will care for a diverse range of health conditions, from minor ailments to major medical issues, in a correctional setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform health assessments within the correctional facility
• Administer medications and treatments
• Collaborate with healthcare providers for coordinated care
• Promote safety and adhere to infection control and safety procedures
• Document care accurately and timely
• Provide patient education and discharge planning
  
  

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program
• Current, unrestricted RN license in New York
• At least 1 year of RN experience (correctional setting preferred)
  
  

Position Overview

• Shift: Three 12-hour shifts (Day Shift)
• Schedule: Every other weekend required
• Location: Syracuse, New York
• Job Type: Full-Time
• Compensation: $50-$56/hr, flexible based on experience
