Responsibilities
Dry Creek Surgery Center is seeking a PRN Pre-Op/PACU Registered Nurse to join our team of dedicated professionals delivering high-quality surgical care in an exceptional outpatient environment. We are looking for a compassionate, dependable RN who thrives in a collaborative setting and is committed to patient-centered care.
About Us:
Dry Creek Surgery Center is a state-of-the-art ambulatory surgery center (ASC) located in the Denver Tech Center. Jointly owned and managed by SCA Health, our facility includes 2 operating rooms and 1 procedure room, serving a wide range of surgical specialties including general surgery, plastic surgery, ENT, podiatry, and robotic-assisted procedures.
We are proud to be the only surgery center in Colorado with a DaVinci XI Surgical System. Our team operates in a fast-paced, quality- and safety-centered environment that values both patient outcomes and employee satisfaction. We offer a supportive culture and an excellent work-life balance.
Position Details:
PRN status with a requirement to work at least 6 shifts in a 6-week period
Pre-operative and post-anesthesia care of surgical patients
Monday-Friday daytime shifts (no nights, weekends, or holidays)

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to patients in Pre-Op and PACU
- Assess patient readiness for surgery and recovery
- Monitor vital signs and manage post-operative recovery needs
- Collaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and fellow team members
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Current RN license in the state of Colorado
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience (PACU or critical care experience preferred)
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible PRN schedule with daytime hours only
