Title: Nurse Manager - Med-Surg/Hematology

Location: Northeastern Region (Onsite)

Employment Type: Full Time, Mon-Fri, 08:00am-04:30pm

Compensation

Pay Range: $107100K-$153000K

Description

Lead a 43-bed Med-Surg Hematology unit with dialysis beds

Provide clinical leadership in medical-surgical nursing, hematology, and dialysis care

Supervise a team of 40 nurses across various shifts

Coordinate care for patients with complex hematologic and renal conditions

Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and infection control standards

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including nephrology and hematology providers

Key Responsibilities

Manage daily operations of the Med-Surg Hematology unit

Supervise, mentor, and support nursing staff

Oversee patient care coordination

Ensure compliance with healthcare standards

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams

Handle scheduling, budgeting, and staff development

Lead hiring and performance improvement efforts

Qualifications

Active NYS Registered Nurse license

BSN required; MSN or related graduate degree preferred

3-5 years of experience in Med-Surg and/or Hematology

Leadership or management experience in an acute care setting

Dialysis Experience Required

Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
