Job Title: Hospital Liaison Nurse

Location: Servicing hospitals in Tacoma, Covington, Puyallup, Auburn- can chart from home

Duration: 6-month contract

Shift: M-F 8-5, OR 4x10s M, T, TH, F

Must-Haves:

• WA State RN License
• Personal Vehicle
• 1 year inpatient experience/acute care
• Familiarity with CVAD (central venous access devices)

Duties:

The Liaison Nurse plays a vital role in supporting patients during the hospital discharge process while they transition to their new infusion or nutritional therapies. They are responsible for reviewing administrative paperwork, checking PICC and central lines for proper placement and function, and teaching patients how to care for their new therapy at home. This nurse will typically see about three patients per day, allowing for thorough education and personalized attention. The position offers a flexible schedule and requires strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with both patients and the healthcare team, ensuring a safe and smooth transition from hospital to home care
