Spectrum Healthcare Resources has an Potential exciting opportunity for a civilian Registered Nurse (RN-PICU) Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Portsmouth Naval Medical Centerin Portsmouth, Virginia

Position Details:

• Clinic Hours: Sunday-Saturday (Varied 12 hour Shifts)  365 days a year, 24 hours a day

Position Requirements:

• Degree: Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
• Education: Graduate from a college or university accredited by National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC), or The Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE). may be a graduate of a state accredited professional nursing program OR a program accredited by Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).
• Experience Possess a minimum of one (18) months of full-time experience as an RN working in a PICU within the last twenty-four (24) months
• Licensure: Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse as required by the state.
• Basic Life Support Certification American Heart Association/American Red Cross, CPR/AED,  Successfully complete Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)  (ACLS) and (NRP)certifications.

• Possess and maintain STABLE (Sugar, Temperature, Airway, Blood Pressure, Lab Work and Emotional Support Program) certification
