Spectrum Healthcare Resources has an Potential exciting opportunity for a civilian Registered Nurse (Inpatient Pediatric Unit and Pediatric Dept)  at  Portsmouth Naval Medical Centerin Portsmouth, Virginia

Position Details:

• Clinic Hours: Peds Dept-- Monday - Friday | 0600-1800 (FT and PT opportunities available). 
• Clinic Hours: Peds Inpatient Unit--- Sunday - Saturday | 0645-1915 (Day) or 1845-0715 (Night)

Position Requirements:

• Degree: Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
• Education: Graduate from a college or university accredited by National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC), or The Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE). may be a graduate of a state accredited professional nursing program OR a program accredited by Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).
• Experience Possess a minimum of one (1) year of experience within the last two (2) years as an RN working in a pediatric clinical setting
• Licensure: Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse as required by the state.
• Basic Life Support Certification American Heart Association/American Red Cross, CPR/AED,  Successfully complete Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
• Additional for Pediatric InPatient-----Have successfully completed the Association of Pediatric Hematology and Oncology Nurses (APHON) Pediatric Chemotherapy and Biotherapy provider course within the past two (2) years or will complete within six (6) months of performance start. Possess and maintain certification of Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP). In addition, each shall maintain the APHON Pediatric Chemotherapy and Biotherapy provider card.
