Are you ready to take the next step in your nursing leadership journey? Lee Health is seeking a dynamic Radiology Supervisorto lead our talented radiology nursing team. This is more than a management role its an opportunity to shape the standard of patient care in one of the most essential procedural environments in our system.
Position Summary
The Supervisor oversees the Interventional Radiology RN staff and Radiology Technologists for a designated campus. This role is responsible for ensuring consistent nursing standards and guiding the delivery of care to ensure it is appropriate and aligned with the needs of the patient population served.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and provide clinical direction to radiology RN staff across all campuses.
- Ensure compliance with nursing standards and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, nursing units, and other interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
- Incorporate age-specific and culturally appropriate care into nursing practice.
- Promote service excellence and lead quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
- Oversee daily staffing and caseload distribution to support procedural efficiency.
- Manage resources responsibly in partnership with the Radiology System Director.
- Represent Radiology Nursing on internal committees, councils, and cross-functional teams.
- Act as a liaison between radiology and patient care units to streamline patient flow and communication.
Qualifications:
- Current Florida RN license required.
- Bachelors degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Masters preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of nursing experience, with at least 12 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Previous radiology or procedural care nursing experience highly preferred.
- Cath lab, ERor ICU experience will be considered.
- Excellent communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
- Ability to lead by example and mentor clinical staff.
- Knowledge of regulatory and safety standards relevant to radiology.
