Idaho Falls Community Hospital is looking for a Cardiac Registered Nurse to join our team!

JOB SUMMARY: A Cardiac Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in non-invasive cardiac diagnostics plays a pivotal role in conducting and supervising under the direction of a qualified physician various cardiac procedures to ensure patient safety and accurate diagnostic outcomes. These procedures include electrocardiography (ECG), treadmill cardiac stress tests, nuclear medicine stress testing (both treadmill and pharmacologic), echocardiography treadmill testing, EKG monitoring, and Holter monitoring

Qualifications

Education/Certification: RN nursing with EKG training preferred Successful completion of an American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) and CPR courses.

Experience: Prefer experience in an emergency or cardiology care setting with experience responding to emergent cardiac and pulmonary events. Start IV’s, place EKG leads, interpret EKG rhythms, and holter monitors.

Equipment/Technology: EKG system and lead placement. Prefer experience with treadmill equipment.

Language/Communication: Must have the ability to effectively read, write, and speak English.
