Pride Health is hiring for a Registered Nurse (Wound Care) to support our client’s medical facility based in West Hollywood, CA. This is a 13-week opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Responsibilities:

• Wound Treatments/Dressings: alginates, autolytic and enzymatic debriding agents, hydrocolloids, hydrogels, silver products, wound vac therapy
• Pressure Ulcer Management: staging (I-IV), tunneling, undermining, venous ulcer assessment/management
• Ulcer Risk Assessment Tools: Braden scale, adult and pediatric prevention risk assessments, identification/management of risk factors impacting skin integrity like edema, burns, cellulitis, hypoalbuminemia, melanoma, necrotic debris, nutritional status, venous ulcers
• Continence Evaluation Techniques: biofeedback, cystometrogram, electromyography, leak point pressures, manometry, pudendal nerve terminal motor latency, urodynamics, uroflowmetry
• Continence Therapeutic Devices: catheter management and self-care teaching, fecal and urinary incontinence programs, female/male external catheters
• Ostomy Care and Management: colostomy/ileostomy care, double barrel and end stomas, ileal lavage, irrigation, loop with rod stoma, mucous fistula, ostomy equipment selection
• Patient/Family Education: wound/ulcer assessment, continence care, catheter self-care

Education/Requirements:

• 2 years of experience required.
• BLS, Wound and Ostomy cert required. WOCN preferred.
• Special Requirements: EPIC exp REQUIRED.

Job Title: RN - Wound Care

Location: West Hollywood, CA

Shift Schedule: Day 4x10-Hour (08:00 - 18:30)

Pay Range: Local $45 to $55/hr, Travel- $2000 to $2300/week
