Travel RN - Oncology

Location: Atlanta, GA

Contract Length: 13 Weeks

Start Date: 07/28/2025

Shift: 5 X 8s Schedule 830am-5pm Mon-Fri

Gross Weekly: $2,300/40 Hours

Duties:

• Delivering comprehensive nursing care to oncology patients across various stages of treatment.
• Administering chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other oncology-related medications safely and accurately.
• Monitoring patients for treatment side effects and promptly addressing adverse reactions.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team—including oncologists, pharmacists, and social workers—to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Providing patient and family education regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, symptom management, and supportive care resources.
• Maintaining accurate documentation in electronic medical records (EMR) in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
• Participating in oncology care conferences and continuing education to stay current with best practices and evolving treatments.
• Supporting patients emotionally and psychologically, demonstrating empathy and respect throughout the care process.
• Ensuring adherence to infection control, safety protocols, and quality assurance measures within the oncology unit.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license in GA or Compact State.
• Min of 2 years of experience within specialty.
• Required: AHA BLS, Chemo Cert & MUST Administer Chemotherapy.
