(2) Occupational Health Registered Nurses needed for a part-time, temp contract opportunity with Yoh’s well-known client located in San Luis Obispo, CA.
This is a medical clinic that offers occupational, primary, and preventative care for employees. Must be comfortable being the only medical professional onsite.

August 4th to September (days) = clinic open Monday-Thursday 6:00am to 4:30pm
- Looking to fill 2 days a week (10 hours/week): 6:00am to 11:00am and 11:00am to 4:30pm

October to November 7th (nights) = clinic open 6:00pm to 6:00am: 4-5 days a week (specific days TBD)
- Looking to fill 2 days a week (11 hours/week): 6:00pm to midnight and midnight to 6:00am
- Looking to fill 2 days a week (11 hours/week): 6:00pm to midnight and midnight to 6:00am
- Active/unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in state of California
- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience as a Nurse in an Occupational Health, Emergency Room, Urgent Care, Corrections, School Nursing, and/or Family Practice type setting
- Computer skills (charting, emails, scheduling, etc)
- Triage and provide nursing services or arrange for higher level of care to employees who become ill or suffer a workplace injury
- Nursing assessment, triage, treatment, and education for employee health concerns
- Basic first-aid (ie headaches, cuts, scrapes, etc)
- Provide medical testing such as EKGs, blood glucose, blood pressure, cholesterol, vision and hearing screening and perform limited interpretation of tests
- Promote health/wellness
- Answer phones and assist with questions
- Support First Responders in medical emergencies
- BLS Certified
- Computer skills (ie prior experience with EMR and MS Office products)
- Confident with clinical decision making and autonomous practice
- Ability to start with day shift and then switch to nights
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to supporting employee well-being
