Operating Room Registered Nurse

HealthCare Support is actively seeking an Operating Room Registered Nurse to fill an opening with an Outpatient Center in Coconut Creek, FL.

Daily Responsibilities for the Operating Room Registered Nurse:

• Performs perioperative patient assessment, reviews surgeon preference card, assesses equipment/supply needs, prepares operating room, ensures availability of needed supplies and equipment and proper and safe working order.
• Assesses patient/significant others understanding of disease process and need for surgical intervention.
• OR is open Monday, Wednesday, Thursday from 7 a.m. – 5 p.m.
• No On-Call Requirement
  
  
  

Required Qualifications for the Operating Room Registered Nurse:

• Current and unencumbered FL Registered Nurse license
• Minimum of 1+ years of experience as a nurse working in OR, ER, ICU, Cath Lab, or PACU setting(s)
• Basic Life Saving (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Saving (ACLS) Certifications upon employment
  
  
  

Preferred Qualifications for the Operating Room Registered Nurse:

• Vascular/Vein experience
• Outpatient surgery experience

Pay Details: $45.00 an hour – $47.00 (depending on experience)
