Position: Hemodialysis Registered Nurse

Department: Critical Care Unit

Schedule: Per Diem (24, 40 or 80 Hours per Month available)

Responsibilities

The Hemodialysis Registered Nurse provides care that addresses the specific needs of age groups from infant to elderly and is also individualized to a variety of needs specific to impairments such as hearing, sight, substance abuse, non-English speaking, and potential victims of abuse. The Hemodialysis Registered Nurse incorporates knowledge and understanding of our commitment to patient rights, our mission vision and values into nursing practice at Good Samaritan Medical Center.

The Hemodialysis Registered Nurse must have excellent assessment skills, clinical skills, organizational skills, computer knowledge and charge capabilities. The Hemodialysis Registered Nurse must be able to lift, transfer and move patients. Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing in the English language. Able to complete mathematical computations required to perform treatment protocols

Requirements

• Education: Nursing degree required: Diploma, ASN or BSN (preferred), Ability to obtain BSN within 4 years
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of hemodialysis RN experience required. Tablo experience preferred.
• Certification/Licensure: MA RN license, BLS + ACLS required
