We’re currently seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Pre-Op/PACU team. In this role, you’ll deliver exceptional care to patients before and after their procedures, working alongside a supportive team of healthcare professionals who value safety, collaboration, and compassion.

We’re currently seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Pre-Op/PACU team. In this role, you’ll deliver exceptional care to patients before and after their procedures, working alongside a supportive team of healthcare professionals who value safety, collaboration, and compassion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care using the nursing process and the medical plan of care
- Monitor and assess patients pre- and post-operatively, responding to changing conditions
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and education before and after surgery
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, surgical staff, and fellow RNs
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with organizational policies
- Support a culture of teamwork, continuous improvement, and patient satisfaction
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current Texas RN license (note: the original said Virginia – adjusted for location)
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a Pre-Op and/or PACU setting
- Previous experience in an ambulatory surgery center preferred
- Strong understanding of surgical procedures and the perioperative patient journey
- Ability to care for patients across the lifespan – from pediatrics to geriatrics
- Excellent communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills
- Professional, ethical, and team-oriented approach to patient caref

Required Skills:
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and patient education abilities
- Ability to remain calm and flexible in a fast-paced environment
- Strong understanding of aseptic technique and surgical workflows
- Comfortable caring for patients across the lifespan (infants to geriatrics)
- Team-oriented mindset with strong interpersonal skills
- Basic knowledge of performance improvement principles
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current Texas RN license
- Active BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience in a Pre-Op and/or PACU setting
- Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) experience preferred
- Prior experience supporting a range of surgical specialties is a plus
