  • Clinical Nurse Manager - RN – Adult Psych Neuro & Rehab- Evenings

As the Clinical Nurse Manager, you will manage patient care delivery on three units, Neuro-Adult Psychiatry & Rehab-serving as a clinical resource and administrator in the absence of unit leaders or when care-related issues arise. Facilitates efficient and cost-effective daily operations of the unit(s) in relation to patient throughput including admissions, discharges and transfers. Promotes a culture of safety and quality by ensuring continuity and consistency in the implementation of established standards, protocols, policies and procedures. In collaboration with the Director of Nursing, participates in the establishment of units short and long-term goals and ensures its alignment with the hospital’s overall strategic goals. Accountable for monitoring staff compliance with regulatory, hospital and divisional requirements.

This is a full-time evening (2PM - midnight) position located at New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Brooklyn Methodist Hospital.

Preferred Criteria

Master's Degree in related area American Nurses Credentialing Center approved national board Certification

Required Criteria

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)Current New York State RN license Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in Neuro-Rehab &/or Psych Demonstrated leadership competencies BLS certification from the American Heart Association Strong organizational, analytical and communication skills Strong commitment to providing an outstanding patient experience

Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.

Salary Range

$130,000-$155,000/Annual
