Overview
Alliance Cancer Specialists is seeking a compassionate and skilled Part-Time Registered Nurse (RN) to join our oncology care team at our Doylestown Location. In this role, you’ll provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a collaborative clinical environment up at least 16 hours a week. You’ll work closely with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to support patients through every step of their cancer journey.

Alliance Cancer Specialists is seeking a compassionate and skilled Part-Time Registered Nurse (RN) to join our oncology care team at our Doylestown Location. In this role, you’ll provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a collaborative clinical environment up at least 16 hours a week. You’ll work closely with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to support patients through every step of their cancer journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver professional nursing care in accordance with national standards and oncology-specific guidelines
- Assess patient health status through interviews, physical exams, and review of medical history
- Administer medications, blood products, and therapies under physician supervision
- Perform venipuncture, access ports, and maintain central line devices
- Monitor lab results and collaborate with physicians on dose modifications and symptom management
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and available resources
- Provide psychosocial support and coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with OSHA and infection control protocols
- Assist with scheduling, triaging patient calls, and managing medication refill requests
- Serve as a mentor to LPNs, MAs, and less experienced nurses
- Participate in professional development and stay current with oncology nursing best practices
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Current RN license and registration with the State Board of Nursing
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience (oncology experience preferred)
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs
- Manual dexterity and visual acuity required for patient care tasks
- Exposure to communicable diseases, toxic substances, and medical preparations common to oncology clinics
- In-person interaction with patients, physicians, and clinical staff is essential
