Insight Global is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) OR - Operating Room Manager for a nursing job in Park Potomac, Maryland.

Schedule: 4x10, days are flexible 

Hours of operation: 6:30am-5:30pm

Must Haves:

• Graduate of a professional school of Nursing. (Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.)
• Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of Maryland.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support.
• 3+ years of leadership experience (management, leadership, supervisor, strong charge nurse)
• Operating room OR labor & delivery experience

Plusses:

• Urology experience
• Supervisory experience in the outpatient surgery area

Day to Day:

• Facilitate daily morning group huddles with the OR team to ensure clarity around assignments and responsibilities.
• Participate in recurring meetings, including:
  • Monthly staff meetings
  • Clinical operations meetings
  • Staff manager meetings
  • Weekly check-ins with Chesapeake Urology Specialists
• Act as a key liaison between clinical staff, physicians, and vendors to support smooth operations.
• Creating the schedules, training new hires, jump in when needed (strong initiative).
• Serve as a “Charge Nurse Plus” — ideally not included in daily staffing numbers, but ready to step in and provide floor support when staffing is limited.
• Proactively address and resolve operational issues as they arise
