Pride Health is hiring a ICU RN to support our client’s medical facility based in Hartford, Connecticut, 06102. This contract opportunity is a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Requirements:

Candidates must hold an active and unrestricted RN license in the state of practice, with compact licensure accepted where applicable. An Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) is required, though a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred. Applicants should have a minimum of two years of recent ICU experience in a hospital setting, with preference given to those who have worked in Level 1 or Level 2 trauma centers. Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA) are mandatory. Proficiency in electronic medical records is required, with strong preference for candidates experienced in EPIC. The ideal candidate will be skilled in interpreting cardiac rhythms, managing ventilators, central lines, and titratable drips. NIHSS certification is preferred, particularly for roles in neuro or stroke ICUs, and may be required upon hire.
