Title: Behavioral Health Nurse (RN)

Location: Bronx, NY (Onsite)

Employment Type: Contract, Monday-Friday 9am-5pm

Compensation

Pay Range:$50.00-$53.00/Hrs

Description

Opportunity to serve individuals in transitional housing.

Engage with clients to support their journey towards improved health.

Work within a residential addiction treatment facility.

Focus on medication administration and skilled nursing duties.

Collaborate with a team to maintain professional nursing standards.

Key Responsibilities

Assess medical status of clients and refer for external care when needed.

Perform ongoing assessments and implement physician orders.

Develop and implement client care plans.

Administer and monitor medications, ensuring compliance with regulations.

Maintain accurate and complete client records.

Provide crisis intervention and participate in performance improvement planning.

Qualifications

NYS Registered Nurse License.

1-2 years of experience with behavioral and mental health populations.

Proficient in computer skills and ability to learn new software.

Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
