Description

Position Purpose:

Nazareth Hospital is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse – Quality Assurance to join our Quality Improvement team. This role supports hospital-wide performance improvement initiatives by coordinating quality assurance efforts, conducting clinical record reviews, and tracking data to ensure compliance and excellence in patient care.

What You Will Do

• Coordinate comprehensive performance improvement programs under the Director of Quality Improvement
• Conduct medical record reviews for internal and external quality reporting
• Organize, analyze, and track quality improvement data from sources such as Datavision, Midas, and Core Measures
• Enter and monitor core measure data, proactively ensuring optimal outcomes
• Communicate findings and concerns to relevant hospital personnel
• Participate in and lead FMEAs, root cause analyses, and quality action plans
• Facilitate and deliver educational sessions on current quality initiatives
• Collaborate on multidisciplinary improvement teams and committees
• Promote integration of risk management and quality processes
• Evaluate the effectiveness of ongoing quality initiatives and assist with annual reviews
  
  

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
• Active RN license in the state of Pennsylvania
• Minimum 5 years of med/surg, critical care, or relevant acute care experience
• Performance improvement experience preferred
• Strong computer and data analysis skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with medical staff and multidisciplinary teams
