Position Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Cardiac Neuro/Stroke Unit. In this role, you will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care to adults with neurological and cardiac conditions. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and evaluate clinical data
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Monitor and interpret vital signs, intervening as necessary in critical situations
• Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families
• Promote patient safety and advocate for high standards of care
• Manage supplies, equipment, and time effectively
• Ensure adherence to evidence-based nursing practices and protocols
  
  

✅ Qualifications

• Active RN license (Florida or multistate compact)
• Associate Degree or Nursing Diploma required; BSN preferred
• 1+ years of recent acute care RN experience preferred
• Candidates with acute rehab experience (e.g., Kindred, Encompass, HealthSouth, Select Specialty) will be considered if comfortable in a stroke care setting
• Certifications Required (within specific timeframes):
• NIH Stroke Scale (within 30 days of hire)
• BLS - Basic Life Support (within 30 days of hire)
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (within 6 months of hire)
