Description:

Trinity Health Of New England Medical Group is looking for an RN to join our Adult Medicine office located in Prospect.

In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, and the care team to coordinate services and ensure a seamless patient experience. Your clinical expertise, compassionate communication, and commitment to quality care will make a lasting difference in the lives of the patients we serve. We’re looking for a reliable, team-oriented RN who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about promoting health and wellness in an Adult Medicine setting.

What You Will Do

  • Contributes to overall quality of nursing care through performance improvement techniques that impact patient care positively
  • Communicates effectively (written and verbal) with colleagues, patients and family members
  • Educate patients and family members so that they have a transparent understanding of the care being provided. 
  • Understanding of computer-based applications (E-MAR, clinical documentation), email, and standard applications such as Microsoft Office.   
  • Demonstrates problem solving, conflict resolution, and positive communication through teamwork

Minimum Qualifications

  • Education: Graduate of an accredited R.N. program.
  • Licensure: Current Connecticut R.N. license required; CPR required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification preferred.
  • Experience: Competent in a Windows-based computer system. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite. Multi-tasking, problem solving and decision-making skills required. Ability to organize, analyze and interpret clinical data. High level of dependability and accuracy required.
  • Experience: 2 years of related clinical and/or hospital experience, or previous experience in a hospital or ambulatory care setting preferred.
