Position Description

Position Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and clinically competent Registered Nurse (RN) to join our inpatient care team as part of the weekend program. This role is ideal for nurses who thrive in a fast-paced hospital environment and are passionate about delivering high-quality care to adult patients. The RN will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for a designated group of patients, ensuring adherence to professional standards and hospital protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver patient-centered care to a primarily adult population in an inpatient setting.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans accordingly.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care.
  • Document all patient care activities accurately and timely in the electronic health record.
  • Uphold safety standards and infection control protocols.
  • Educate patients and families on health conditions and post-discharge care.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: Associate’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
  • Licensure:
  • Active Wisconsin RN license or a Multi-state Nursing License from a participating NLC state.
  • Certifications:
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers or an AHA-approved equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN).
  • Experience:
  • Clinical competence and experience in managing adult inpatient populations.
