We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Registered Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team. This is a permanent position that provides an opportunity to work in a diverse and rewarding environment, focusing on home care and home health services. Responsibilities

As a Registered Nurse, your primary responsibilities will include

• Providing comprehensive nursing care to patients in their homes, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient health status.
• Administering medications, wound care, and other personalized interventions as ordered by physicians.
• Performing routine procedures like blood pressure measurements, administering injections, and wound care management.
• Coordinating with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans.
• Performing patient health assessments using OASIS data collection tools and interpreting patient data to determine patient needs.
• Educating patients and their families on disease processes, self-care techniques, and prevention strategies.
• Managing infusion therapies and administering medications as prescribed by physicians.
• Ensuring compliance with all healthcare regulations, including patient privacy and consent procedures.
  
  

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications

• Current and valid Texas State Registered Nurse License.
• Minimum of one year of experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in a home health setting.
• Demonstrated experience with or a desire to learn OASIS, wound care, and infusion therapies.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Strong critical thinking skills, with the ability to make sound judgments in emergency situations.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks.
• Commitment to adhering to ethical and legal standards of nursing practice.
• Ability to lift and move patients and equipment, and to perform physical tasks such as bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
• Willingness to travel to patients' homes within the service area.
