Job Overview – Wound Care Nurse Manager, MLTC (RN):

Location: Bronx, NY

Compensation: $110,000 - $125,000/year

Schedule: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday

Join our client’s team in Bronx, NY, as a Wound Care Nurse Manager for their Managed Long-Term Care (MLTC) program. In this role, you will provide expert evaluation, teaching, and training on wound care management to staff, members, and families.

Responsibilities as the Wound Care Nurse Manager, MLTC (RN):

• Treatment Plan Development: Collaborate with physicians and the Chief Medical Officer to create treatment plans for members with active wounds.
• Monitoring and Follow-up: Evaluate the effectiveness of current wound treatment plans and provide necessary follow-up, direction, and instruction.
• Education and Training: Conduct educational in-services and training sessions for staff, members, and families on wound care management.

Qualifications for the Wound Care Nurse Manager, MLTC (RN):

• Licensing: Current New York State Registered Nurse License required.
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree required (Master’s Degree preferred).
• Experience: 3+ years in an Acute Care setting required.
• Certification: Current Wound Care Certification required.
• Skills: Experience in staff development, adult instruction, or home care preferred.
• Industry Knowledge: Excellent knowledge of Department of Health and Managed Long-Term Care standards required.
• Technological Skills: Proficiency with MS Office required.
