Position Summary:

We are seeking two experienced and compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our Emergency Department team at Neighborhood Hospitals in Mequon, Wisconsin. This role is ideal for nurses who excel in high-acuity, fast-paced environments and are committed to delivering exceptional care to adult patients. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care and demonstrate clinical competency in emergency care delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department, primarily to adult populations.
• Perform comprehensive assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with hospital protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity and quality of care.
• Document all patient interactions and clinical activities accurately and timely.
• Float between Mequon Hospital and Mequon Health Center as needed.
• Participate in trauma and stroke education annually.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Schedule Details:

• Start Date: August 18, 2025
• End Date: November 13, 2025
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7:15 PM – 7:15 AM)
• Days Per Week: 3
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Schedule Notes: Every other weekend required; floating between Mequon and Pewaukee locations.

Required Qualifications:

• Education:
• BSN or Nursing Diploma
• Annual Trauma and Stroke education required
• Licensure & Certifications:
• Current Wisconsin RN License or Multi-state Nursing License from a participating NLC state
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers (required before orientation)
• AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Trauma Nurse Course Certification (TNCC) required within one year of hire

Preferred Qualifications:

• No specific preferred education or certifications listed
• Emergency nursing experience is a plus
