Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

Location: Bronx, NY (Onsite)

Employment Type: Contract, Day Shift, Mon-Fri: 07:00am-04:00pm or 06:00am-03:00pm

Compensation

Pay Range: $28.42-$40.60 Per HR

Description

Provide direct care and document nursing practices following accepted standards.

Manage methadone dispensing, administration, and inventory control.

Assess clients at intake and on an ongoing basis to identify new medical or nursing needs.

Coordinate client services with interdisciplinary team members.

Participate in nursing standards evaluation and Continuous Quality Improvement activities.

Maintain infection control standards and adhere to medication administration policies.

Assist with procedures and maintain medical and dispensing area integrity.

Key Responsibilities

Document nursing assessments, care plans, and follow-up recommendations.

Communicate new medical needs to relevant team members.

Provide educational health materials as needed or requested by clients.

Perform monthly checks and participate in peer reviews.

Maintain inventory levels and ensure proper functioning of medical devices.

Assist in procedures and reconcile medication and vaccine inventory in EMR systems.

Maintain professional certifications and participate in mandatory trainings.

Qualifications

Graduate of accredited Nursing School with a current and unrestricted Licensed Practical Nurse license.

Experience Working In An Addiction Setting Required.

NARCAN certified.

BLS/CPR certification is required.

Infection Control Certification (approved by NYSED or NYSDOH, 3.0-4.0 Hours).

Strong Organizational And Multitasking Skills With Excellent Interpersonal Abilities.

Bilingual in Spanish.
