Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Location: Thomasville, NC

About The Role

As an LPN, you'll be a vital part of our small, dedicated team, working alongside a primary provider and a dual nurse. We're looking for someone with exceptional customer service skills who can confidently interact with patients, answer their questions, and guide them through any concerns they may have.

Key Responsibilities

• Patient Care: Provide general nursing care, including taking patient histories, recording medications and vital data, and administering prescribed medications.
• Phlebotomy: Perform a high volume of lab draws, requiring strong phlebotomy skills.
• Vaccinations & Immunizations: Offer and administer vaccines and immunizations.
• Procedure Support: Facilitate the setup of various medical procedures.
• Patient Communication: Engage with patients to address their questions and provide clear, supportive guidance.
• Observation & Reporting: Observe and record patient treatment and progress, reporting any changes in condition or reactions to the supervisor.
  
  

Schedule

This is a 40-hour per week position with the following schedule:

• Monday & Wednesday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Tuesday: 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM
• Thursday: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
• Friday: 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM
  
  

Compensation

• Pay: $28.25/hr
  
  

Qualifications

• LPN License: Must be a licensed LPN or hold a temporary permit to practice in North Carolina.
• Experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience as an LPN. We are open to newer nurses who demonstrate strong aptitude and dedication.
• Customer Service: Very strong customer service skills are essential.
• Phlebotomy: Excellent phlebotomy skills are required.
• Communication: Ability to effectively communicate and explain medical information to patients.
  
  

Assignment Details

• Contract Duration: This is a 6-month contract assignment with the potential to become a permanent position based on outstanding performance and clinic need.
• Location: Fully onsite in Thomasville, NC. Candidates from nearby areas like Lexington, High Point, and Archdale are encouraged to apply.
