Position Highlights

• No weekends or holidays specified
• High-acuity L&D unit with 19 patient rooms, 6 PACU, 6 triage, and 3 dedicated L&D ORs
• Strong night shift team: 1 charge RN, 7–9 RNs, 1 CST
• EMR: CPN and Meditech
• Equipment: Novii and GE fetal heart rate monitors, fetal scalp electrodes

Unit Details

• Patient Ratio: 2:1 standard; 1:1 for high-risk or complex cases
• Procedures:
• Vaginal and cesarean deliveries
• Care for postpartum and high-risk antepartum patients
• Full nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation
