Schedule & Shift Details

• Shift: 3x12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend
• Block Scheduling: Not permitted unless explicitly stated
• Orientation: All hours billable

Requirements

• Experience:
• Minimum 3 years ER experience
• 1 year travel experience required if candidate has academic medical center background
• Certifications:
• Required: BLS, ACLS, PALS
• Preferred: TNCC, NIHSS
• Charting System: Epic (required; hard stop)
• Trauma Experience:
• Level II required
• Level I preferred
• First-time travelers: Not accepted
• License: Pending license accepted if application has been submitted to the board
• RTO Restrictions: 1 week maximum

• Diagnoses: Trauma, acute stroke, STEMI, psychosis, sepsis, substance abuse, complex medical history
• Procedures:
• Moderate/deep sedation
• Ultrasound, intubation, cardioversion
• D&C, sexual assault exams, CPR, imminent deliveries
• Special Equipment: Epic, respiratory support, cardiac monitoring, procedural sedation
• Interdisciplinary Support: Respiratory, Radiology, Social Services, Pharmacy, Transportation, Unit Secretary
