RN - Labor & Delivery (L&D), Recovery & Observation

Pay rate-$53/hr

Location: Chicago, IL

Start Date: September 2, 2025

Contract Length: 13 weeks-local contract

Shift: Nights, 3x12s (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)

Guaranteed Hours: 36 hrs/week

Block Scheduling: Not available

On-call/Callback/Holiday: Minimal

Level I Trauma Center

Mandatory Float Facility - All staff may be floated as needed within scope

Charting: Cerner

Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend (2 weekends/month)

RTO Policy: Max 5 days/month, no more than 2 consecutive; No RTO day before/after a holiday; No RTO on weekends

Certifications

BLS

ACLS

NRP

AWHONN Intermediate

Preferred: AWHONN Advanced

Vaccine Requirements

COVID-19: Required (no exemptions)

Flu Vaccine: Required (medical/religious exemptions allowed)

Additional Information

Orientation: 24 hours (non-billable)

Parking: $2/day at Juvenile Temporary Detention Center (shuttle every 15 minutes)
