Vizient/AACN Nurse Residency Program™ at St. Joseph’s Health - Starting Summer 2026.

Start your nursing career with confidence through 12 month-long Vizient/AACN Nurse Residency Program™, designed to support newly NY State Licensed RN's as they transition into clinical practice.

Start: July 6th, 2026, August 3rd, 2026 or September 14th, 2026.

Open House: 2/3/2026 2:30pm-4:30pm@ St. Joseph's Hosptial

Application period: 2/2/2026-2/15/2026

Interviews: 3/2/2026-3/6/2026

As An RN Resident, You’ll Receive

Eligibility

All newly NY State Licensed RN Residents with less than one year of experience are automatically enrolled. Cohorts start 8 times per year.

Supervision

Team Leader, Clinical Coordinator, Unit Manager, Clinical Services/Nursing Admin

Pay Range

$38.75–$39.75/hr. (based on experience, education, and skills)

Sign On Bonus

Currently offering up to $8,000 in recruitment bonuses for full time, qualified, energetic RN Residents who are passionate about nursing.

Education, Training, Experience, Certification And Licensure

  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
  • RN Licensed in the State of New York and posted on Office of Professions.
  • Maintains current BLS/CPR and ACLS certification.
  • Participates in orientation and continuing education and updates and maintains knowledge and skills related to specific areas of expertise.
