Charge Nurse - Med-Surg -Claremont, NH

Shift: Permanent,(Night Shift)

4x10-hour shifts | 10:00 PM - 8:00 AM

Job Summary & Responsibilities

A well-established healthcare provider is seeking an experienced and dedicated Charge Nurse (RN) to join its Medical-Surgical Inpatient Unit on the night shift. This leadership opportunity is ideal for a nurse with strong clinical expertise, a compassionate approach to care, and a desire to mentor fellow team members.

As a Charge RN, you'll deliver direct patient care while overseeing unit operations during your shift. You'll help shape a collaborative, supportive, and high-performing team by guiding newer nurses and modeling professional nursing standards.

• Lead and coordinate nursing care and unit operations during assigned shifts
• Provide safe, high-quality care to medical-surgical patients
• Mentor and support new nurses as they transition into the clinical setting
• Role model clinical best practices and sound critical thinking
• Promote teamwork and communication across disciplines
• Ensure efficient and effective patient care delivery
  
  

Education, Licensure, and Experience:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred)
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Hampshire (or Compact State)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications - must be submitted with application
• Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant nursing experience (Med-Surg preferred)
• Proven leadership, communication, and clinical decision-making skills
