Collaborates and consults with clinical nurses, nursing students, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to identify research opportunities, design studies, analyze and disseminate findings.

Essential Functions
- Develop and implement a comprehensive nursing research plan aligned with the hospital's mission and strategic goals.
- Mentor and support clinical nurses at various career stages, fostering their professional development and growth.
- Oversee and coordinate nursing research projects, ensuring adherence to ethical standards, regulatory requirements, and research best practices.
- Design and conduct nursing studies, including evidence based practice, quantitative and qualitative research, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Disseminate research findings through publications in peer-reviewed journals, presentations at conferences, and contributions to nursing and healthcare literature.
- Collaborate with clinical nurses to implement evidence-based practices and research findings into patient care protocols and workflows.
Education
PhD in Nursing or DNP Required.
